Costume designer Catherine Martin and her husband Baz Luhrmann have created incredible cinematic magic together. For their latest film 'Elvis,' Catherine was tasked with recreating iconic moments that took the world by storm in the 1950s. From Elvis' black leather suit to the infamous pink and black hues that highlighted the King of Rock and Roll's sexuality and rebellion, Catherine breaks down the ins and outs of transforming Austin Butler into Elvis. Baz Luhrmann's ELVIS is in theaters June 24, 2022. 🤍elvis.warnerbros.com/ Still haven’t subscribed to Vanity Fair on YouTube? ►► 🤍bit.ly/2z6Ya9M Want to stay in the know? Catherine’s dress is divine!
Who designed those glasses, RANDY RAINBOW?
Fascinating.
She’s brilliant
The actor has such a coarse face; just can't buy him as Elvis.
I love how Baz considered the movie an interpretation rather than imitation of Elvis….that’s why the movie is such a success….all Baz’s movies are fantastic.
Amazing woman, wow!
he wasn't transformed! Looks NOTHING and sounds NOTHING like him! All this hype over some Z list impersonator! get a grip!
Edna Mode vibes
Dude doesn't have Anything like the KING 👑👑 he's a CHEAP Imitation Crappy Imitation Shawn Klush would have been better and Cody Slaughter
her costume is amazing
I can hardly tell when it's Elvis or Austin in these clips. They nailed elvis perfect.
Beautiful costumes. Beautiful movie. Visually stunning. Austin's performance as Elvis was so great it felt surreal. I felt transported to the 50s to witness the Elvis phenomenon.
The dress she's wearing is so gorgeous though
Here comes Mr Oscar

I thought I glimpsed Austin wearing a gold dupion silk jacket over the pink lace shirt 👍🏽👌🏽
Great master class for young designers
